- Dina Lohan was arrested for driving while intoxicated last night after she allegedly hit a car outside of an Outback Steakhouse in Long Island.
- Dina was also arrested for driving while intoxicated in 2013, so she now faces felony charges.
Last night Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan was arrested in Long Island, New York. According to TMZ, Dina was driving outside of an Outback Steakhouse around 7 pm when she purportedly hit another car. Dina then allegedly fled the scene of the crash, but the person in the other vehicle followed her all the way back to her to house.
According to the outlet, cops then showed up to Dina’s home, and say that she refused to take a drug or alcohol test. However, they still “observed clear signs of intoxication,” and arrested her for DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Dina was also arrested for driving while intoxicated in 2013, and after pleading guilty, she was sentenced to community service. But because Dina has that prior DWI on her record, she now faces felony charges. Dina’s lawyer also issued a statement this morning to TMZ, saying:
The arrest of Dina Lohan is most unfortunate. She was not evaluated for alcohol content in her blood at the time she was arrested. We have interposed a not guilty plea at her arraignment to all six charges. We look forward to attending court this Wednesday to fight the case. I was successful in getting her out without bail. She was released without bail by the judge.
Obviously, how this all pans out remains to be seen.
