One of the amazing things about blogs is that they promote conversations about mental health, and offer us ways to look after our well-being.

Here’s a list of top mental health and well-being blogs that provide a wealth of resources and support within mental health and well-being.

  1. The Mighty is a digital health community designed to empower and connect people facing health challenges and disabilities. Their stories and videos are viewed and shared more than 90 million times a month.
  2. The Male Psychology Network aims to expand our overall understanding of the full diversity of the human condition and enrich our understanding of men and women, both in their distinctions and in their common humanity. The website was rated third for psychology in the UK by Feedspot in 2018.
  3. Psych Central claims to be the largest and oldest independent mental health social network. Since 1995, its award-winning website has been run by mental health professionals offering reliable, trusted information and over 250 support groups to consumers.
  4. Psychology Today was first launched in 1967 and continues to thrive. On this blog, they have gathered a group of renowned psychologists, academics, psychiatrists and writers to contribute their thoughts and ideas on what makes us tick.
  5. Psychreg was launched in 2014 by Dennis Relojo-Howell (who happens to be the world’s first blog psychologist), as a directory. It soon evolved into publishing articles on psychology and mental health, hosting a podcast, and having its own open access publication. It was named as ‘Blogger of the Year’ by the UK’s Mental Health Blog Awards in July 2020.
  6. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country. They’re dedicated to breaking down stigma about mental health and making life better for everyone who has a mental illness. In addition to their public awareness events like Mental Illness Awareness Week.
