If you’re scrolling through Instagram and see a photo of JoJo Siwa after her James Charles makeover, you won’t even recognize her. And, that’s not an exaggeration either. James, who’s famous for his make-up skills, transformed JoJo’s face and made her look much older than her actual age of 17.
“Getting my makeup done number one is just like a ‘no.’ I like to do it,” she admitted at the beginning of the video. “James, this is my dream and my nightmare at the same time.” To which James replied, “I’m nervous too because I want to make sure that the look is appropriate, that you like it…” JoJo then cut him off, jokingly saying that he gets one try and that it would scar her for the “next five years.” LOL.

Well, that’s quite the transformation (told you we weren’t lying). In order to make her look so different, she had to strip her face of the sparkly makeup she was wearing and let James give her a more glamorous look. A little winged eyeliner here, some highlighter there, and voilá: A brand new JoJo.
“I will say, it’s very pretty and you did a wonderful job on the hair and on the makeup,” she said after seeing the finished look.”Obviously it’s not me, I mean, you know how I showed up here in sparkles and bright pink and neon and rainbow, but it is really pretty and you did an incredible job.”
Her one remark says it all: “I feel like I’m Joelle right now.”
